The terms of the current ExCo will end at the September 2025 conference, and incoming SACOMM President, Professor Sisanda Nkoala invites colleagues to nominate themselves for election to serve on the SACOMM Executive Committee for the next two years.
The following nine vacancies are available:
- Deputy President (note, after a two-year period serving as Deputy President, the incumbent takes over as President for two years).
- Emerging Scholars Stream – two posts
- Communications Advocacy and Activism – one post
- Media Studies and Journalism – one post
- Strategic Communications – one post
- Screen Studies – one post
- Communication Studies – one post
- Communication Education and Curriculum Development – one post
