The 2026 SACOMM conference will be hosted by the Wits Centre for Journalism at Wits University from 9 – 11 September. A pre-conference programme for emerging scholars will take place on 8 September.
The theme for 2026 is Asserting the Human in the Time of Technofeudalism: Global South Perspectives.
