SACOMM 2023 ends at AFDA Johannesburg on Friday, 29 September 2023.
With more than 160 delegates from over 15 Universities from across the continent, SACOMM 2023 drew to a close after three days of intense discussions, exchanges and social gatherings.

#SACOMM23 will be held from 27-29.09.2023, on the AFDA Johannesburg Campus, 41 Frost Avenue, 2092 Auckland Park.
Presentation Guidelines:
All presenters are urged to bring along their presentations in .ppt or .pdf format on a memory stick, unless they will be presenting live from the internet (Canva, Prezi etc.).
Presentations are scheduled for 15′, with a short feedback and Q&A directly after each presentation.
Please could all presenters who can not attend as they had originally planned urgently let the LOC know, so that they can amend the programme in time for the conference. Please send a short mail to sacomm2023@afda.co.za

New stream leaders need to be elected for the next two years.
Nominations for the new Deputy President also need to be made.
The election for the new Executive Committee will take place during the AGM at the upcoming conference to be held at AFDA Johannesburg, from 27-29.09.2023.

AFDA Johannesburg, SACOMM Conference Host 2023
In the run-up towards the annual SACOMM Conference in September, in partnership with Goethe Institut, AFDA Johannesburg is hosting free film screenings on each Monday evening. Ample, safe, on campus parking is available during the screenings. All the productions that will be screened during the month of August will be accompanied by discussions and debate.
